Sleep Scientist – Respiratory and Sleep Medicine - Canberra ACT

• Pay: $88,252 - $105,569 (Plus 11.5% Super) | Health Professional Level 2
• Location: The Canberra Hospital, Garran      
• Contract: Full Time, Permanent

An exciting opportunity exists for a Sleep Scientist to join a leading Respiratory and Sleep Medicine Department of a Government Health Service in Canberra, providing high-quality sleep disorder assessments and management. This role involves conducting routine and complex polysomnography, positive airway pressure therapy management, and contributing to research, training, and service development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform polysomnography and sleep studies for adult patients.
• Manage positive airway pressure therapy initiation and follow-up.
• Provide clinical supervision and education to staff and students.
• Support quality improvement and research projects to enhance patient care.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor of Science/Applied Science or equivalent
• Minimum 12 months experience in polysomnography and airway pressure titration
• Strong technical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work autonomously and in a multidisciplinary team
• Accreditation with ACCP (desirable)
