Are you a dedicated Psychologist looking for a rewarding role that makes a real difference? We have an exciting opportunity for a fully registered Psychologist to join a multi-disciplinary Allied Health team, providing assessment and treatment services for paediatric, adolescent, and adult clients across Melbourne’s western suburbs.
About the Role:
This role involves the option of delivering 70% clinic-based and 30% outreach services or 100% clinic-based services to clients with intellectual disabilities, developmental delays, and other psychological needs. Services are provided across various settings, including schools, homes, vocational training centers, and community-based services. You will work with clients referred through Medicare, Private Health Insurance, WorkCover, and DVA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide psychological assessment, intervention, and counselling for clients of all ages.
- Support children with developmental delays (0-6 years) in a family-centered early intervention model.
- Work with school-aged children with intellectual disabilities and/or autism, supporting them in educational and home environments.
- Assist adults with intellectual disabilities in vocational training centers, residential care, and supported living.
- Work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team to optimize client outcomes.
- Conduct clinic-based, school, and home visits to deliver holistic care.
What We’re Looking For:
- Full registration as a Psychologist (AHPRA).
- Medicare Provider Number eligibility.
- Current National Police Check, Working with Children Check (WWC), and First Aid Certificate.
- Driver’s license & own vehicle for outreach services.
- Strong time management, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Passion for supporting individuals across all ages, backgrounds, and abilities.
- Ability to work both independently and within a collaborative team environment.
