Are you passionate about people and skilled in providing high-level administrative support in a confidential environment? ACM is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Human Resources Support Officer to join a dynamic local government division.
In this role, you’ll be a vital part of the HR Services Team, supporting the People and Wellbeing Section to deliver exceptional customer service and operational outcomes. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience in local government and grow your career in human resources.
What You’ll Bring:
To thrive in this role, you’ll need to demonstrate your expertise and experience in the following areas:
- High-level administrative support in a confidential setting.
- Sound knowledge of human resource functions, including onboarding and recruitment.
- Strong ability to collect, analyse data, and create reports.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- A commitment to delivering high-level customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet strict deadlines.
- An understanding of budgetary constraints and the cost implications of your work.
- HR systems expertise—demonstrated skills in the use and administration of human resource management information systems.
