About the Role:
You will be contributing to the security and office management processes, contributing directly to the timeliness of security checks, validation of information and maintaining accurate records, while also providing exceptional customer service to the Adelaide office, supporting staff contributing to the success of our global trade and investment initiatives. This role offers a unique blend of operational execution, customer engagement, relationship building and the ability to support continuous improvement initiatives to achieve national objectives.
- Provide Administration Support to the Security and Property teams by processing forms and analysing the information provided; Facilitate pre-employment screening processes for new employees and assisting with the induction and cessation process for employees; and maintaining data repositories, through capturing of correct data sets and sharing of information.
- Perform the duties of the Office Manager at the Building Management Forum. Assist in the proper functioning of the office by identifying office management issues or concerns; providing front of house support and escorting of visitors, ensuring they are informed of emergency practices and comply with internal procedures (some out of office hours work may be required); coordinate and manage facility maintenance and services, mail, freight and delivery of supplies; as well as receipt and payment of invoices relating to rent and utilities ensuring payment within designated timeframes.
- Facilitate knowledge transfer and continual development by developing standard operating procedures, participating in knowledge sharing forums and sharing information with other office managers.
Criteria:
- This is a security designated position, and you will be required to hold, or willing to obtain a current Baseline Security Clearance prior to commencement.
- Experience within a government department or similar field
- Sound organisation skills and the ability to work independently with limited supervision
