Technical Delivery Manager

  • Estimated Start Date: December 2024 / January 2025
  • Initial Contract Duration: 12 Months
  • Extension Term: Up to a maximum of 18 Months
  • Location of Work: ACT, QLD, SA, VIC (Canberra Preferred)
  • Security Clearance: Must have Negative Vetting Level 1
  • Number of Personnel Required: 7

Role Overview:

The Technical Delivery Managers will be responsible for managing and delivering technical projects and services in a product-focused environment. This includes leading technical teams, managing execution, and ensuring timely project delivery aligned with business objectives. The role supports critical ICT infrastructure and transformation initiatives, particularly in the realms of cyber security and digital transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify business objectives and recommend solutions.
  • Manage project scope, schedules, and budgets from inception to closure.
  • Coordinate project teams, ensure milestones are met, and mitigate risks.
  • Provide technical leadership and ensure adherence to best practices.
  • Lead technical teams, including developers and engineers.
  • Solve complex technical challenges and manage risks.

Candidate Selection Criteria:

Minimum 3+ years of experience:

  • Experience delivering cyber security and assurance projects while managing scope, schedules, and budgets, including resolving issues.
  • Significant knowledge of Australian Signals Directorate (ASD) Essential Eight and Information Security Manual controls to achieve Maturity Level One in complex ICT environments.
  • Significant experience with Microsoft 365 product suite or similar digital transformation projects.
  • Experience influencing stakeholders and partners to successfully implement cyber security mitigations.
  • Proven ability to lead technical teams and manage cross-disciplinary technical programs.
  • Experience managing Microsoft Windows Desktop and Server Operating Systems environments.
