Job Description

Broadcom Data Centre Security Engineer

  • Initial Contract Duration: 12 Months
  • Extension Term: 24 months (up to 2 extensions)
  • Location: Canberra (minimum 3 days in office weekly)
  • Security Clearance: Negative Vetting Level 1

Role Overview:
The Broadcom Data Centre Security Engineer is tasked with enhancing and optimising the current Data Centre Security infrastructure. The role focuses on managing Broadcom Data Centre Security (DCS), maintaining security systems, and leading the migration of servers to Microsoft AppLocker.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily management and maintenance of Broadcom DCS.
  • Implementing security patches, bug fixes, and system upgrades.
  • Supporting the migration of server management from DCS to AppLocker.
  • Documenting technical processes, updating design documents, and contributing to knowledge databases.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3+ years of experience in managing Broadcom DCS.
  • Expertise in Microsoft AppLocker and Windows PowerShell.
  • Proven problem-solving skills to address and resolve security issues.
  • Strong understanding of Broadcom DCS optimization and configuration.
  • Experience with the Essential Eight Application Control mitigation strategy and relevant ISM controls.
  • Familiarity with planning and executing DCS upgrades (version 6.7.x to 6.9.x).
