Clinical Psychologist/Social Worker

• Employment Type: Permanent, Part-Time (29.4 hours per week)
• Classification: Health Professional Level 3 or 4/Psychologist Level 3 or 4
• Salary: $105,900 - $136,035 (Plus 11.5% Super) 
• Requirements: Pre-employment National Police Check, Working with Vulnerable People
  registration, CHS credentialing and scope of clinical practice compliance

Role Overview:
This position involves delivering high-level clinical services to adolescents aged 16 years and older, as well as adults, primarily focusing on gender care. The successful candidate will be a Clinical Psychologist or Social Worker who works collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to assess, diagnose, and manage the mental wellbeing of patients, including those with other sexual health conditions.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide interdisciplinary support to individuals with gender concerns or gender dysphoria.
• Work to improve physical and mental health outcomes for transgender and gender-diverse individuals.
• Utilise a trauma-informed, strengths-based approach in clinical care.
• Collaborate with other health professionals to optimise patient care.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience working with transgender and gender-diverse populations.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed and strengths-based approaches.
• Qualifications and experience relevant to Health Professional Level 3/4 or Psychologist Level 3/4.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and experience in sexual health services.
• Advanced clinical skills in assessing and managing mental wellbeing.
