NIGHT SHIFT Nurse – Residential Detox Program, Luxury Rehab Facility - Maleny

ACM Healthcare is on the lookout for multiple Registered Nurses to join a casual pool of dedicated staff working within a residential Alcohol DETOX program. The role includes providing medical oversight to the residential program during the night shift, working on a ratio of 1:1 with guests onsite implementing a high delivery of clinical care.

The shifts available are either 8pm – 12pm or 12pm- 8am.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date notes in alignment with organisational polices.
• Identify and report risks prior to escalation, Crisis management and client support.
• Safely oversee the detoxification process, monitoring for withdrawal symptoms.
• Administer medications to manage withdrawal symptoms and prevent complications.
• Offer emotional support and educate guests and their families about the detox process
• Coordinate with the day shift team as part of the shared care approach

MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse
• Minimum of 1 years of nursing experience, preferably in a detox, rehab, or behavioural health setting
• Current Driver License
• Current Police Check
