Medical Experience Lead - Registered Nurse/Medical Practitioner - Rehabilitation Programs – Pottsville

ACM Healthcare is on the lookout for a Registered Nurse or Medical Practitioner for a Medical Experience Lead working out of either Pottsville (Northern River) or Helensvale (Gold Coast).  The Medical Experience Lead is responsible for enhancing the overall client experience within our clients residential rehabilitation programs. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with clinical teams, administrative staff, and external stakeholders to deliver exceptional client care and drive continuous improvement.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide medical leadership and guidance to the team, ensuring adherence to best practices and compliance with relevant regulations.
• Develop and implement policies and protocols related to medical care within the rehabilitation setting.
• Collaborate with the Clinical Director/Manager and GP on the overall strategic direction for client care.
• Review clients charts and provide medical consultations as needed.
• Oversee the quality and effectiveness of medical care within the rehabilitation programs.
• Stay current with the latest medical advancements relevant to rehabilitation.
• Represent the program at external meetings and liaise with medical professionals and regulatory bodies.

MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Medicine and registration with AHPRA
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a registered nurse or medical practitioner within a rehabilitation setting. Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of Physicians (FRACP), Australian College of Nurse Practitioners (ACNP), Australian Primary Health Care Nurses Association (APNA) or Drug & Alcohol Nurses of Australasia (DANA)
• Extensive experience within rehabilitation or a related field.
• Strong medical leadership and communication skills.
• A valid Australian Drivers License
