EL1 Federal Government Project Manager – Security Infrastructure - Construction

 

    • Initial 12 Month Contract
    • $70 - $80 an hour + Super
    • MUST have Negative Vetting Level 2

 

ACM Healthcare has a requirement for Security Infrastructure project management resource(s) for a Federal Government Department role with project/construction management background who has skills in Project delivery with an understanding of security measures in building projects. The successful candidate must have an understanding in the administration of contracts, building regulation compliance, fee negotiation with specialist contractors, management of allocated budgets and be able to project manage locally and remotely. The role is to keep the project delivery progressing (on time and on budget) whilst protecting the integrity of the design and ensuring full compliance with security measures/regulations.

 

 

About the Role:

    • Provide leadership, direction, and motivation to the project team.
    • Ensure the required deliverables are produced to the required quality standard.
    • Ensure approved time (schedule and cost (budget) are managed consistent with project objectives.
    • Integrate the project management stakeholders throughout the 5 phases of the project.
    • Liaise with the project customers, stakeholders and governance bodies, such as a Program Management Office in delivering the project.

 

Responsibilities:

    • Liaise with the project stakeholders to ensure project objectives are achieved.
    • Manage project scope, risks and stakeholder expectations to ensure integration of project activities.
    • Mange the design and documentation through the 5 project phases – Initiation/Design and Document/Delivery/HOTO/DLP
    • Manage project variations and changes and maintain the change control process.
    • Coordinate and prepare regular progress reports and communication with key stakeholders.
    • Establish project administration systems, document control and record management processes.
    • Prepare, manage, review and update project documentation including risk and communications plans in conjunction with project team members.
    • Manage project costs through cost estimating, budgeting, monitoring and contingency management.
    • Manage the risk management process, including the development of contingency plans, reviewing residual risks and escalating risks that cannot be managed at the project level.

Criteria:

 

    • This is a security designated position, and you will be required to hold a current Australian Government Negative Vetting Level 2 Security Clearance prior to commencement.
    • Domestic and overseas travel will be required to sites as per project schedule.
