ACM Healthcare is the only Australian Recruitment Agency which has a division which specialises within the Hearing Industry. We work with a Myriad of Audiology Providers, Manufacturers and Independently owned organisations across Australia & New Zealand.

We are excited to be recruiting for an Regional Business Manager (Audiology - Sydney, NSW) for a National Audiology Provider. You will have full headcount and P&L accountability for 20 clinics across Sydney with responsibility for revenue growth and exceptional employee and customer experience.

  • Full-Time role
  • Generous remuneration package between $110,000 to $120,000 + Superannuation + Travel Allowance + Bonus'

About the role
As the Area Manager you will be responsible for 20 clinics across the Sydney region supporting a team of Audiologists, Audiometrists (Clinicians) and Customer Service Officers (Admin). Having prior experience of multi-site retail management is a must. You’ll be comfortable using sales data and analytics to generate insights and make important decisions that affect sales. You’ll be the person that brings energy to your team - whether you’re leading teams, collaborating with others or engaging the local community.

Having the experience to manage financial budgets to a profitable outcome and extensive people management your role will also include the following but not limited too:

  • Achieve revenue targets
  • Ensure delivery of world class operating and business performance including clinical excellence
  • Provide extensive leadership and motivation to teams
  • Develop and implement marketing and community strategy
  • Achieve business development targets including new clinic rollout plans
  • Providing ongoing support by way of presence within each clinic location (travel required)

Key accountabilities:
Direct Reports

  • Leadership & Engagement: Provide leadership, coaching, and development to employees, including recruitment, performance reviews, succession planning, and fostering a positive work environment aligned with Demant values.
  • Clear Expectations & Accountability: Establish a framework for empowering direct reports to execute business initiatives, achieve KPIs, and promote continuous learning.
  • Onboarding & Continuous Development: Partner with training to drive hiring, onboarding, and upskilling of Clinician & Hearing Care Coordinators to ensure they have the necessary skills for client care, service excellence, and commercial success.

Drive Business

  • Budget & Sales Execution: Contribute to and manage the annual sales budget, lead sales strategy implementation, and analyse performance to identify opportunities and challenges.
  • Market Insights & Share Growth: Understand the local market, client trends, and opportunities to maximize business success, including increasing local market share through tailored marketing, GP engagement, and business development activities.

Operational

  • Workforce Planning: Maintain staffing levels in line with client demand for productivity and performance.
  • Management Schedule: Implement a structured schedule across direct reports focused on commercial, and clinical excellence.
  • Client Experience: Ensure superior client experiences, clinic presentation, uniform standards, and compliance with business processes.
  • HR Management: Address staff concerns promptly and effectively in line with company policies, seeking HR or managerial support when necessary.
  • Reporting & Compliance: Manage day-to-day operations using reports, assess results, and ensure compliance with standards, regulations, company policies, and legal requirements.
     

You will be successful in this role if you have:

  • Outstanding leadership skills: Proven experience in leadership with direct involvement in motivating and developing a team to achieve key sales objectives.
  • Exceptional customer service delivery: Experience in fostering a culture focused on delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Geographically dispersed team leadership: Experience in leading teams dispersed across multiple locations to collaborate effectively.
  • Strategic and operational responsibility: A proven track record of following an existing operating model, with significant experience in sales planning, execution, and management within a defined territory.
  • Financial acumen: Knowledge of business and financial concepts, including key retail performance metrics, sufficient for extracting and interpreting information to inform business decisions, as well as audiological knowledge.
  • Strong IT capability: Excellent command of IT systems and tools
  • Effective communication: Professional verbal and written communication skills, with confident and influential communication and presentation abilities.
  • Commercially driven: Commercially minded with experience initiating and supporting company initiatives to drive commercial outcomes. Demonstrated ability to achieve key sales targets and objectives.
  • High degree of flexibility: Demonstrated flexibility and successful integration in high-change environments and with new business applications.
  • Valid Australian driver's license: Required.
