Audiologist or Audiometrist Required (Bathurst, NSW)

We are excited to be recruiting for an Audiologist or Audiometrist to join a with a client centred Independent Audiology Chain to deliver patient-centric care to the local community. Due to growth they are expanding their team in the Bathurst, NSW region!

• A competitive and generous remuneration package between $90,000 to $110,000 + Superannuation + Travel Allowance + Relocation Allowance (If applicable)

The role:

 Supported by experienced in house team, you’ll be responsible for:

• Provide the highest hearing care services to the local community through patient-centric care
• Assessing and diagnosing the extent of a wide range of client's hearing loss, including children
• Providing Comprehensive hearing evaluation to clients using various tools & techniques.
• Cochlear implant candidacy testing
• Various types of ear wax removal (Training provided)
• Guiding clients to choose the right hearing solution based on their needs.
• Child testing general and VROA
• Pre & post-operatively assessments
• Providing education and counseling to clients and their families 
• Cochlear implant Mapping
• BAHA programming
• Documenting the consultations
• Liaise with other medical professionals about the client's condition
• Working with local ENTs and GPs on client healthcare plans

What you will need:

• Tertiary qualification in Audiology or Audiometry 
• Full Member of ASA, AcAUD or HAASA
• OHS (QP Number) required
• Minimum 2 years of experience working independently
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Can-do attitude, a proactive approach and strong clinical decision-making ability.
• Covid-19 vaccination
• Drivers License and vehicle 
• Some Clients will consider sponsorship options, subject to membership with Audiology Australia or the Australian College of Audiology
