We are seeking an experienced Locum Radiographer to join our team at Royal Hobart Hospital in Tasmania.

The successful applicant will play a crucial role in providing diagnostic imaging services to our hospital patients.

The successful applicant will be responsible for producing quality images and providing excellent patient care. The role requires strong communication, organisational and technical skills.

Contract Length:

Ongoing till the end of August 2024 (possibility of extension if desired)

Travel and Accommodation Provided if required.

Competitive Agency Rates $57 - $100 per hour based on experience.



 
Key responsibilities:

• Utilise a range of radiographic equipment to produce quality images for diagnosis and treatment

• Provide patient care during all imaging procedures

• Follow departmental protocols and safety standards

• Assist in maintaining accurate patient records

• Maintain and calibrate equipment according to manufacturer's instructions• Provide patient education regarding imaging procedures

• Maintain a safe and clean work environment

 
Skills and Experience:

• Minimum of 1 years’ experience in a Radiography role

• Current AHPRA registration & Radiation License

• Proven ability to produce quality images

• Knowledge of radiation safety and protection

• Ability to adhere to strict protocols and safety standards

• Ability to work well as part of a team
