Psychologist / Clinical Psychologist |Flexible contracts and hours available | Eltham

ACM Healthcare is working on behalf of a private practice based in Eltham. We are looking for either a Psychologists or Clinical Psychologists to work across a varied case load either as a part time permanent or contract clinician.

PLEASE NOTE: This role is within an Allied Health Practice and we are looking for a Psychologist for 2-3 days a week.

Job Description:

• Integrate into the multidisciplinary team and see value in multidisciplinary referral, communication and style of care
• Be able to conduct psychological assessment & treatment plans based up contemporary evidence-based research balanced with your clinical knowledge
• Ready to continue learning though internal PD programs and external courses
• Motivated and ready to build a caseload of ideal clients by leveraging existing database, existing referral networks, as well as extending on your own clinical reputation in this area
• Be able to work within our processes to help with time management and admin effectiveness
• Engage collaboratively in learning opportunities as a part of a multidisciplinary team, whether this be presenting or taking part
• Able to maintain a high standard of professional behaviours and clinical ethics 
• Full administration support provided!

Essential criteria:

• Available either part time 2-3 days a week
• Fully registered with AHPRA as a Registered Psychologist or a Clinical Psychologist        
• Competence in CBT, some experience/willingness with other therapies in particular Mindfulness based therapies, ACT, CFT, Schema, DBT, MI
• Registered with Medicare as a provider of psychology items
• Clinical experience with a wide range of presentations/issues
• Able to work autonomously and part of a team with enthusiasm + reliability
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
