Job Description

Are you a passionate and dedicated Speech Pathologist with a special interest in working with children? We are currently seeking a highly motivated Paediatric Speech Pathologist to join our multidisciplinary team in Melbourne.

The successful candidate will be working for a well-established private practice that focuses on providing high-quality services to children and their families. The team consists of experienced and dedicated professionals who are committed to making a positive impact in the lives of their clients.

 

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for children
- Develop individualized therapy plans based on assessment findings
- Provide evidence-based intervention for a wide range of communication difficulties, including speech sound disorders, language delays, and social communication difficulties
- Collaborate with families and other professionals involved in the child's care to ensure a holistic approach to therapy
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of therapy programs and resources

 

Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Speech Pathology
- Current registration with Speech Pathology Australia
- Experience in working with children with a variety of communication difficulties
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based practice and intervention techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
