Our client is seeking a Childrens psychologist to join their team at their clinic in Woollahra, Sydney’s Eastern suburbs. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and be confident in engaging with parents.
In this role, you will be responsible for assessments and supporting a client load, while working closely with the CEO to ensure the clinic's approach and efficacy are of high standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Engaged and playfully and creatively with young clients
- To assess and potentially diagnosing using psychometric tools
- To produce high-quality psychometric reports, using evidence-based interventions to achieve therapeutic goals
- To advocate for children and families at school-based case conferences
- To deliver workshops and programs for children
- To provide peer supervision and to engage in individual and group supervision
CRITERIA:
- Fully Registered with the Psychology Board of Australia (AHPRA)
- One years+ experience working with children in diverse settings, such as paediatric mental health and/or an educational context
- Be available 3, 4 or 5 days a week as a permanent employee with time set aside each week for administrative, research, training and support.
