Job Description
Our client is a very well-established NDIS provider who is searching for their next Occupational Therapist to join their multidisciplinary team who is passionate about working with a variety of clients across Sydney. The current caseload includes assessment and recommendation for everyday equipment recommendation, complex equipment prescription, minor and major home modification, and application through funding.
About the role
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and create personalized treatment plans to enhance clients' well-being and independence.
- Assisting participant with providing home modifications, equipment prescription/letter of recommendation, home modification report, wheelchair modifications and organizing a quotes for assistive device, wheelchair railing modifications or assessment, cognitive assessments and
- Liaising with service providers and within the team to ensure effective communication.
- Implement evidence-based interventions and modalities to optimize clients' functional abilities and promote holistic care.
- Both Permanent Full time and Part Roles available
Skills
- Bachelor or Master of Occupational Therapy
- NDIS experience and understanding is highly preferable however as long as you have clinical experience, this is key.
- Understand the complex needs of elderly clients and clients with a physical disability.
- AHPRA Registration
- COVID 19 vaccine certificate
- Knowledge of aged care and NDIS is desirable, and further training can be provided at work.
