We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Registered Dietitian to join our team as a Community Dietitian in Sydney for a 3-6-month contract.

This position is perfect for someone looking to have a working flexibility as you get to choose your own hours/days worked with a view to go permanent down the track if desired.

The successful applicant will be responsible for providing dietetic advice and education to a variety of clients in the community. You will need to have excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently and autonomously.

In this role you will:

• Assessments of nutrition and dietary requirements for clients with a wide range of disabilities and impairments. 
• Supporting dietary requirements for persons with difficulty swallowing and chewing, bowel and intestinal issues and complex co-morbidities. 
• Development of individual, evidence-based treatment plans and goals to address any deficits identified in these areas ensuring best practice and the client's individual person-centered plan.
• Provide face to face and occasional tele-support to clients in community settings of their choice, in their own home, group homes, day programs

Skills and Qualifications 

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

• A minimum of 2 years' experience working as a Registered Dietitian in a community setting• A bachelor's degree in nutrition or dietetics
• Current registration with the DAA
• Valid NDIS Worker Screening Clearance, or willingness to obtain.
• Current drivers’ licence and own vehicle.
• Competitive Hourly Rate with Full Travel Allowance on offer.
